Michael Moore didn't say he was against intervention in Afghanistan, he said Bushies had been in bed with the Taliban regarding an oil pipeline. That part was true. He inferred incorrectly that that was the reason for the invasion. It was not. But the rest of FAHRENHEIT 9-11 nailed Bush-Cheney right where it counts, exposing them as in bed with the Bin Laudens and Saudis, being AWOL on real counter-terrorism, cheating to steal the election and coddling anyone the Saudi government wants protected. Moore also correctly exposed the disconnect betwen Bush's drive into Iraq and the real war on terror, which we now know. Moore was several years ahead of his time in understanding that.

Moore also correctly nailed the NRA and the US health care system, though a few details of his exposes are a bit over the line. As a whole his films are accurate.
