I've mentioned before that Hawaii should secede and join a federal system of New Zealand, Hawaii, Cook Islands, with Cook Islands tax laws. Hawaiians and Maoris are both from Cook Islands, so it's a logical political grouping. Then I could holiday in winter in the northermost island without bothering with all the USA laws. Hawaiians could go skiing for a bit of a cool down in July/August. Fishing is great in NZ too. Hawaii is a nice place. New Zealand is very good in summer but right now is NOT at all pleasant. There are lots of nice golf courses too and even in winter they are good to play on. Especially in winter in some ways [cooler], nice ball control [no hard fairways]. Avoid the Mexican invasion of the USA, secede now. Come to think of it, Hawaii would be a good headquarters for a reconstituted UN, Mq's patented NUN = a federal system but without the busy-bodying = the constitution would involve border security and commons management, not socialism and "redistribution".
