The federal bureaucracy in DC is incapable of effectively monitoring or enforcing the so-called "comprehensive" immigration reform bill that was defeated on Thurs. Therefore, US citizens are demanding construction of the wall and it's electronic components FIRST. Once that goal is accomplished, the next step would be to determine the fate of the illegals already within U.S. borders.

Yes, we know it won't be impenetrable but that doesn't mean it won't be effective. There's a vast difference between a flood and a trickle.
