RME, Clinton was able to come close to a balanced budget for only one reason. Those were the times of the computer company's that were dominating the stock market, but they were under capitalized and as Clinton was vacating the White House, they started to go under which left a diving market which Bush had to deal with.

IOW, Clinton had an easy time, but Bush was left with a mess.

You seem to be fixated on gay people as if you have an interest in them. The reason that Republicans are against gays, is because the Bible says that no man should have sex with another man. I guess you can say that Republicans have religion, and the liberals don't.
