I happened to catch Meet the Press today where they discussed the All American Presidential Forums held by Tavis Smiley/PBS last week with the Democratic candidates.. pbs.org as ya'll probably know, Hilary had the headliner quote of the night when discussing AIDS among Black women..to paraphrase: "if Aids was a leading cause of death among white women, there would be outrage." to a huge, loud applause from the audience.. Personally, I resented the comment because yet again, I thought, she cultivated divisiveness and anger between 2 groups of people.. Yet, Tavis told Tim Russert that he met with a group of 30 forum attendees(mixed race and ages) and although they were expecting to love Barack, they left invigorated by Hilary and that statement.. The short format of debates/forums is clearly a weakness for Barack..Tavis, et. al., agreed that he's got to improve in this area..
