When someone writes for any prominent media, I ALWAYS look to see if it is an Editorial, or an Opinion piece.

That's why I asked for a link to the article. We still don't have one for Calabresi from Time or anyplace else.

And THAT's why I tried to find his Bio. Still haven't seen one.

I personally think he is very wrong, but I also personally think this will be one of the Democrats talking points over the next year and a half.

Hopefully, there will be those who will be able to document and prove how many LEGALS have been helped to become productive citizens over the last century, and how many people over the years who have helped the minorities in this country to have freedom....more than in any other country on the face of the planet.

Plus, there is something that the writer of that article didn't say. If the ILLEGALS don't like it here, perhaps they should leave and go back where they came from. No one invited them here, except the so called President of Mexico.

The Mexican government can't provide for their own people. So he expects this country to do it.

Notice when I said that the ILLEGALS should return to their own country if they don't like the laws here...I said NOTHING about the color of their skin, or creed, or religion, or anything else for that matter. They are ILLEGAL Lawbreakers. Nothing more, and nothing less.

But his comments brought to light what many Democrats contend is really beneath the fight over immigration — a hint of racism or nativism.
