Many Datek clients have e-mailed me concerning the problems I am having with Datek and have given me a wealth of support and general information on how to deal with the matter. I want to thank all of you for this. I also want to say that the people who post here are some of the best in the world. My matter is currently being referred to arbitration and we will see what happens. I believe I have a solid case.

I also want to empathize with all those who have experienced problems with Datek and hope I can be of help to you somehow. I have received e-mails detailing other unfortunate situations and hope that your matters are resolved in a quick and painless fashion. It appears that Datek is expanding their support staff and by force taking problems more seriuosly. Maybe the only way to wake Datek up is for them to lose customers. It is a shame though.

I will not initiate comments on my particular matter pending the results of arbitration and the other legal means available to me. I am preparing however a step by step guide about the best way to handle your problems. In addition, I will post some noteworthy discount brokerage alternatives. Based on the e-mails I have received, there seems to be a great deal of interest in the alternatives.

In the meantime, if there are some who still want to contact me directly for any help, send me an e-mail to jzahran@zahran.com .

Best Regards,
Jack Zahran
