Hard to imagine how this will work out. He could work to redeem his honor which has been lost on past mistakes. Libby lied, probably because of some misplaced attempt to demonstrate loyalty, thinking that those who he had been loyal to would take care of him if he got into a jam.

Now he likely feels he's been betrayed, which would also be a mistake on his part. He could do a tell all book now and cash in, figuring loyalty is a lost cause and there isn't much value in honoring those who'd initially sponsored him... sinking even lower.

His first mistake was sacrificing truth by placing loyalty on a higher level. He seems to have an ego problem which could interfere with redemption.

Honesty is the best policy, always has been and always will be. It's never too late to start either.
