Your belief that somehow "liberals" have been egging on the current travesty is amusing.

Fraid the monolithic GOP juggernaut, total control of the Executive and Legislative branches, in place since 2000, gets to take the credit for where we find ourselves today.

The Gore theory rests on the belief that a competent executive would not have embraced and enabled a fiscal policy that debased a fully functioning, expanding, job creating economy to enrich a small segment of the population.
