Jay hmmm, maybe speculation that Adobe's already porting to Alpha & Intel can move a lot of Alphas if they decide they want to. FYI, DEC & Intel released news that Intel may buy Alpha manufacturing for 1.5B & license to produce the chip. IF Adobe had already been porting to 64bit Alpha, it appears their market may have just gotten much larger. Then there's the Apple's Rhapsody on Alpha recent news as well, which could be interpreted as positive for Apple, and so goes Adobe. Then of course it may be only the repurchase starting, or global interest in low P/E stocks now that bonds are yielding their lowest today since Feb 1996, or...
