No. But people should stop pretending they know all the answers.

When the ice age article ran, we had virtually nothing in the way of computers - certainly not super computers that we could run models with like today.

Computer models are worthless if you don't know all the inputs and feeback loops and we don't. Have computer models made weather forecasting markedly better? We still can't predict weather very far out and that is somethinge we've been working at most.
