I agree. But look at all the science. Not just what Algore claims is the consensus.

The calls for join the consensus and get on the wagon are calls to ignore conflicting science and abandon the debate.

I think they have. But what's the alternative? Do nothing? Pretend we can never do better?

I don't think weather forecasting is all that better than 30-50 years ago. What improvements have been made aren't sufficient to justify making 50 year forecasts.
