If I said of anyone "X is seeking out those who are [intellectually curious], engaging in a philosophical exploration of the currents of history," is that not by definition a description of X being intellectually curious. How do you even do it without being intellectual curious, unless someone is forcing you to do it in a required class?

Bush has not been required to do it, yet somehow the wording reflects the idea that intellectual curiosity doesn't count as intellectual curiosity if George Bush does it. Kind of like a dancing dog - the wonder is not that he does it well, but that he does it at all. This is the kind of stupid garbage that liberals comfort themselves with when they lose elections.

As long as you like the guy that's what's important. Say something nice about the guy [Bush].

Okay. I think he's a conviction politician who is trying to protect America and do what he thinks is right. He doesn't change course with every poll like Clinton did.

As for the net result, you will need to wait 30 years and ask the historians.
