Obviously it was an exercise in worse case. My first math case a while ago, I said they needed to have revenue of $13 million per year to even talk about break even. Their first report was revenue estimate of $600,000 for a quarter.
That is $2.4 million per year or negative $10.6 million.

That is $10.6 million in shares they have to sell to break even.

If the reverse split happened today then the price would be .098 per share. That is about 100 million shares needed to be sold on a yearly basis. So it would take 9 years to hit their 1 billion. So you could argue that they will not have to reverse split ever again.

However you can't forecast what the stock price will be going forward. If they issue positive press releases, they can keep it up. If they don't, well, you get the picture.

My first math exercise assumed they would split at the end.
They decided, correctly, to do it now and get it over with.
