Michael, you are almost good at disputation. For example, you are wise not to try to explain or justify what is happening to the dirty little, piss covered Palestinian kid in the link that I supplied. We all know the kid is a terrorist, and deserves to be beat, but the picture of the scene doesn’t paint Israeli soldiers in a good light. Best not to call attention to it. Looks kind of like racism, if you just look at what is happening, and don’t know that the kid is an Arab dog.
But you can’t leave the post unanswered, either. So what to do? What to do?
Ah, yes, this is what needs to be done: call the person who calls our attention to the kid (and to a gruesome example of Israeli racism) a racist. This strategy is almost brilliant. Almost, you understand. The trouble is, if “anti-Semitism” has lost its mystique, what makes you think that “racism” still has potency, especially when it doesn't apply? |
