You make my POINT! "And you think our dependence on ME oil is NOT "emotional and...dangerous" ? Tell that to the families and loved ones of those who have been killed and wounded in Iraq." To escape middle east oil we need a plan and policies to achieve the plan. Every drop of domestic oil not produced has to be imported. By denying ANWAR oil - you force imports. Now if you can show policies where alternatives replace imports - ah but you cannot. Alternatives are fringe components of the solution. The runaway do gooders are forcing us to depend on ME oil more than necessary.
