One of the coffee shop guy's granddaughter and husband bought a house 10 blocks from the police station and have been broken into 3 times in 3 months. They both work and the first two were when they were gone

Ish, the best place to break the law is right in front of a police station. It's the least watched place in the neighborhood. I've seen more blatant lawlessness within spitting distance of cop shops than I care to remember.
