Vindicated? I don't understand the comment. The other part of your statement is true - I do invest in alternate energy.

Do I want us to run out of oil, of course not. But that doesn't mean I believe we should go after every last drop - I think that is silly. Other countries all over the world have adapted to higher oil cost and have benefited from doing so. What is wrong with that? In a few years I suspect we will be gaining a good amount of biofuels from waste products. Instead of being dependent on Iran for oil - why not replace that with biofuel from sawdust? What in the world do you have against getting fuel from a waste product instead of beneath the sands of the ME - or in the furthest corners of the arctic?
