The immigration thing is a disgrace from all parties.

Iraq is an entirely different matter of right idea, bad execution. I've agreed to give them until sept. as they requested, but it's almost here and already you hear tony snow making soft pedaling comments about reseting sept expectations - I will not support a surge of the surge - this was the last chance to assist the iraqis, it's clear they no longer share our vision or never did - so we must start a draw down after sept. or no latter than end of the year. We didn't give up after six months - we gave the gov't several years to work a plan and they have failed to achieve lasting peace in that country - not sure anyone in america has the stomach for a ten+ year insurgency or civil war.
