I did very little trading through my IB account because I was confused with their account summaries, and I had no closed transactions in 2006. The year end account summary was very complete - 7 pages for a basically inactive account, and I'm sure your accountant would find enough there to prepare your returns. There is an IB thread somewhere, with posters who are active users, but I've unbookmarked it. Sorry.
