No, YOU support our troops, traitor. You are the ones sticking them in Iraq and leaving them there without relief until they are blown up. And you don't even supply adequate armor or health care.
Today's LA Times states we now have more highly-paid private contractors in Iraq (who we are all paying for, huge salaries) than we have troops. So we really have more than 300,000 Americans in Iraq, except more than half are soaking tax-payers by making $150,00 or so a year.
Our troops desperately want to come home, they are exhausted. Our military is spenbt. Our recruitment levels are disasterous. Our National Guards are wasted. Most are loyal and willing to do their jobs, that is what soldiers do, but they wanted out of Iraq years ago, and those who read and think know that there is no light at the end of the tunnel in Iraq, only more disasters, war, terrorism, civil war, lies, secret oil deals, tragedy and huge-huge cost.
The only winners of the Iraq "war (really an occupation between a civil war) are the Halliburtons of the world. Cheney's own company, the biggest and most amoral war profiteer in the history of the USA. That is pure corruption at its highest scale. |
