I love taking the toll highway over the hills from Los Angeles to San Diego. It's a big, swishy, smooth, fast, safe and beautiful route and costs just a few dollars.

Mq, I lived in Santa Barbara until 1996 and traveled to San Diego
many, many times..When did this "toll highway" get built??

I used to drive way out of my way to I-15 and then San Diego to
Avoid driving thru L.A. I'd pay in heart beat....
