Whether Libby heard Valerie Plame worked for the CIA from Tim Russert or not is not a grave national security interest. What Bush-Cheney did was send a message to our intelligence agents and their assets saying 'WE WILL EXPOSE YOU AND DESTROY YOU IF YOU REPORT THE TRUTH OR DONT DO EXACTLY WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO". Valerie Plame wasn't doing any of that. What Bush just did is also obstruction of justice by the POTUS, and Bush openly lied to all of us two years ago saying that anyone who leaks a CIA's officer's ID will be dealt with harshly. Unfortunately Fitzgerald kept the truth about Armitage from the President.
