I was listening to Barry Young on KFYI in Phoenix and they were interviewing a Supporter of Illegal Ailiens from Mexico.
Elias Bermudez, president of the group Immigrants Without Borders, stated that the illegal ailiens were responsible forthe construction boom 2003 to 2006.
Then a one of the laid off construction workers called and asked him to explain why he was now laid off from construction in a state that leads the nation in building.

I would say that the Boom years would have been extended into 2010 if the the 20 million Illegals had not been here soaking up the jobs that anyone would do when they were laid off.

Immigrants may flee to other states
As crackdowns spread, job options may dwindle
