I suspect Edwards may just be running for the ego gratification. I think we'll see a Hillary/Obama ticket too. Sure hope we can beat it. It'll be the first female/black to be on a major party's candidates. The media will be flogging the racism and sexism angles from the getgo, depicting all opposition to the Democratic ticket as racism and sexism. The Republican nominee will be either Thompson or Giuliani. Romney may be on the ticket as a veep with Thompson. I don't know if Rudy or Fred would take the veep spot. If Rudy were to beat Thompson, he'd need a sunbelt conservative to balance him. Huckabee?
