LOL! Thanks, MJ! And isn't it just the truth....I missed the Boston Pops, darn it....but did see a few pieces of some of the other celebrations. What a perfect Norman Rockwell picture of American 4th of July celebration....Ice cream beaters earlier in the day that made the homemade ice cream to go with fresh picked raspberries and strawberries, fried chicken, potato salad, and kool-aid of earlier years. Then at night, kids with popcorn on the lawn in the neighborhood, shaking and whirling around with sparklers, and watching the Dads and their efforts with the smaller but closer versions of the "big bombs" of the professionally done FireWorks! A Great Celebration indeed!
