LindyBill; The falling Dollar is a separate problem, only slightly connected to oil. Okay, you attribute the rise in oil from 20 to 70 in the last few years to.........? Clearly the fall in the dollar has contributed and contributed in a big way - and it all occurred under Bush when he controlled both the House and Senate. You look for the bad, I look for the good. Boy by what leap of reasoning did you come up with that? I said I favor and am invested in alternate energy sources because I think we can make a stronger America by weaning ourselves from ME oil and that as a side benefit we achieve healthier air for our children to breath. It is you saying "no you can't". Alternate and cleaner energy sources is pessimistic because why? steve
