Lack of immigration law enforcement emboldened the greedy faction of American employers who craved ever larger numbers of slave-wage laborers. Eventually, crowded hospital ERs, crimes commited by illegals and the disappearance of family sustaining wages in sectors like the construction industry, alerted life-long citizens that their country had been silently invaded. Subsequently their outrage exploded unto newspaper frontpages & websites throughout the country.
