Observation about yesterday. The Naz did 1.7 billion shares against 3301 companies. This is the lowest amount of companies represented in a days trade since I've collected data. As you'll recall last fall volume had declined to horrendous levels, almost everyday. That horrible volume was occurring across a range of companies that averaged 3345 companies. Which means that while yesterdays volume was light in a comparative sense, adjusted to the gross float of the market tells a different story.

The declining # of participating companies contributes to the gross characterization of the type of market we have today.

These are material facts; casting shadow upon awareness offered & decisions taken by output mouthpieces. When no awareness of these data is shown or considered, rate the contributors opinions as fundamentally flawed.
