EC, my younger daughter was telling me last night (I think this is what she said-lol) that if light comes to a place where it has to go around something which has a longer route (but a shorter route up ahead) or a shorter route now, it will take the longer route????? How does light know ot do that? function of the wave action, but what funtion-lol? When I first figured out existentialism as a ghetto kid-lol, I remember people saying there was a level understanding above existentialism callled phenomonology. I think the above is what they were talking about--ie.how does light know to do that? Also, in the most famous experiment (the double split experiment) no matter what tricks the scientists use to fool the particles going throught the slit (to keep the superposition (wave function) from collapsing the particles always know. They can never trick the particles-never. Also, there are certain experiments where it seems a particles can go back in time and change their path if some trick is used and that is the only way to overcome it. We know knothing yet-lol. I am hoping I live long enough for those quantum computers to solve these questions. the neww collider about to be commissioned somewhere is europe might reveal some of this stuff. I wish Clinton had stuck to his guns and built the 40 mile one in texas.
