My wife and I just returned from seeing Sicko. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Just superb. I have long shared many of the political positions Michael Moore does but have not been terribly enthusiastic about the films. I liked them but was conflicted. But they are getting better and this one is easily the best. I agree with Iktomi's suggestion that it be shown in the schools. And the churches. Etc. His ridicule of the politics of fear is perfectly placed, perfectly orchestrated. His ridicule of the profit structure of the HMOs and the consequences for health insurance is just as well done. One could go on and on. One of the more telling moments was of a young US mother who was migrating to Canada for good, affordable health care.
