Mollysue: What you are calculating is an NAIC index. Not a Beardstown ladies index. The ladies do use the NAIC Stock Selection Guide but it has been developed by NAIC. That said, what you are looking for is an upside/downside ratio of >3:1. I don't have my guidelines here today, but I will check on this tonight and let you know. Or you can visit the NAIC Web site and the information may be there. Ann
