I think it's going to be a while before we see any dramatic up direction in KooKooRoo.
Yesterday I was in my favourite kooks on Ventura blvd in Studio City. Often I see some suits from Santa Monica HQ milling around. I'm not bashfull so I walk up to the round table and say, "Hey! What the hell is going on with your stock, and when are you going to can CMM?" Well, you should have seen the looks on thier faces. None of these poor bastards had a clue what is going on with KKRO. BUT! One told me he had put a bid order in to sell his position completely at 6.5. (Wishfull thinking I told him.) He didn't even know what yesterdays close was. He didn't want to know, he said. His reasoning was that he just had to put his money where he could make some money. Seemed like a good reason to me. The other guy said that he didn't think KOOKs was going to do much soon because they were getting into some NEW INVESTMENTS. Oh! Great! What the heck now, Chinese Kite Making, Leather Crafts, Knitting workshops for the elderly and retired?
Also, check this out. KKRO does not give thier employees any benifits. They get some stock when they join, and that's it. What a deal. And I heard that from the Chickens mouth and not the Turkeys.
I'm in @ 5. I'm not too concerned. The place is still a winner IMHO. But where the hell the profit is going, (other than back into locations), is beyond me. A secret harlem in Nevada perhaps.
So..... A boring day on wall street today. (For me). So I'm off early to get me some breast. Done well, with a side of potatoes and grapes. I'll ask for my plastic water cup, put it on my Amex for mileage and chow down with my hands coming up for air between swallows. Then, maybe, just maybe, I'll stroll 10 feet over to Arosto coffee and get me one of them Ice blended Mochas with whipped cream. Yeah!
