Gee, I remember a whole lot of liberals saying the President doesn't make a whole lot of difference to the economy. Which is true. Clinton didn't invent the PC or the cell phone; he just happened to be President when the massive rollout occured (and the massive bubble). re: Oh, they will. If high capacity cheap batteries can be developed with technology available now and a few years from now. I think it will be a transition... from plug-in hybrids that get maybe 50 miles on electric to eventually all electric. Could be a 10-15 year process before the majority of passenger cars are all EVs. re: I hope electric cars make a comeback too (they were among the 1st autos). There are lots of ways of generating electricity. I look forward to the day when the Arabs have to learn to eat sand. Couldn't agree more.
