Indo-Americans are not that politically active in US politics. A few, who have the money, try to blatantly buy influence.

So it goes back to Hillary's fund raising where she gets huge amounts from just a few people, unlike Obama who gets small amounts from many.

With Obama, the middle class white vote is solidly behind him. the African-American vote will ultimately rally behind him. His wife will be the biggest asset in this effort. The African-American leadership is t he one viewing Obama suspiciously since they fear that they (the leadership personally) will loose their leverage with a President Obama. But I doubt the common African-American person will abandon him.

As a BoSox fan, as a supporter of Dukakis and Kerry, I have learnt to be skeptical with anything that has a big lead early on.
