Fishing in the heat up here has been pretty slow. We abandoned the lake this weekend due to heat and granddaughter having to go to the ER. She was covered from head to toe with the most god awful looking rash I've ever seen. Then her lips started swelling and I said I don't care what they said in Rice Lake I want her at Luther in Eau Claire. It was amazing. To give you an idea how bad she looked they had to finally get her in a room away from the area that people could see because they would walk in the door take one look at her in her mothers lap and say oh my god and turn around and walk out thinking it might be catchy:) It appears to be the worst case of hand, foot and mouth disease any of these folks had seen or heard of. Jenny said she felt like a freak show and wanted to charge admission because they probably saw 100+ Dr's and nurses through the day spent in emergency with all of them oohing and aahing and saying that is just incredible. Then they asked for and received permission to picture her and send them off to Mayo and she will likely end up in their monthly publication. Ah the price of fame:)
