Dont you and Peter know the devil has been around for quite a long time. You can overhype the iraqi invasion against saddam as much as you like. He was the bastard we knew and the bastard we didnt know is far worse. Only dudes that can defeat the local insurgencies are the locals. A WW2 type war by great powers is not possible anymore. What we get is something worse than what we started with. Not always but usually. I myself bought into this war because i was fooled by the easy success of Kosovo. Remember Col. Hackworth? He was a real warrior but he was against that war because he thought scores of americans would be killed by fierce fighting serbs. No such thing happened and i extrapolated in error. When do you guys admit error? Or are you waiting for us to lose in a more clear fashion so you like nadine can blame things on MSM and feckless democrats. Who lost China was the cry of republicans in 1948. On vietnam, the right fights a never ending campaign against admitting we lost at all. Is that what you are waiting for. If so, shame on you.
