I'm buying ALJ because return_on_equity >30 (43) and the price is trending upward. I don't much care about funny-mentals but here's a recent article fwiw: Alon USA Energy said Monday that it has finalized the purchase of the crude and unfinished products pipeline system from Kinder Morgan, known as the "Black Oil System" for a purchase price of $4.5 million. The "Black Oil" system includes approximately six miles of active and thirteen miles of inactive pipelines in the Long Beach, California area... energypublisher.com
