But as the world's economic superpower, peace benefits us much more than it does other nations. The fact that we have the UN here and not in Switzerland or Luxembourg shows that we run the joint. We should be willing to pay a little extra for the chance to get everyone from Castro to Chavez to Kruschev to show up for their 15 minutes of fame and give us the opportunity to figure out what makes them tick. Fortress America is not a good idea.

If they are still looking for WMD in Iraq, they must be watching Fox News. <G>
