Oh my gosh, Fran....What a terrible accident...So happy to hear that you are patched back together again. Heavens, that must have scared all of you! Please when you can, write to the company who made the car and tell them what happened! How lucky you are to still have your arm, and the use of it.

I can well imagine that it must have been frightening...to say nothing of hurting like heck....

How long are your kids going to be gone? Sounds like all of you can have some time to enjoy each other, and the parents have some welcome "time away"....

Fran, you said something that I think about every once in awhile....Was that (whatever it is) really there all the time, just waiting for us to see/find it, or did it magically appear?

This is such a fascinating earth -one could think that the faces were always there to be revealed and just waiting for skilled hands to remove the rock surrounding them. :) Just like people, and many of us seem to remain disintegrating rock without finding out what greatness lies within and is residing dormant.. waiting...

Was your Grandfather a photographer? Or did he work on Mt Rushmore? I am curious how he came to have those photos....My guess is you will uncover some interesting history when you have the answer to that question....
