The good news on the housing front is that half hour business programs now aired with FHA approved remortgage sales program. FHA will be offering approved mortgage insured loans. And we expect this fall most of the new mortgage will be offered by FHA at an attractive 15/30 year fixed rates. Most subprime and adjustable loans will convert also to FHA loans.

On the short interests of specialists and market makers, most short interest during May to June period, were reduced to half the amount previously outstanding. Some more favorable trading before labor day will ease the financial liability of market makers and specialists. Funds and corporations are now aware of the losses, from hoarding equity that has a huge short interest position. Most are selling and parking in the treasuries. This will allow new short interests to be more realistic in value.

The economy is very resilient, and can be adjusted fairly fast. The situation is the productivity and large profits put too much cash on the side line. We want them to be invested in automated production equipment. But the temptation is to scalp the equity market, where no real economical productivity growth can be supported. So, CEOs have to be prompted to add automated production equipment for their business, for export opportunity, when currency exchange rates are favorable.
