WTF is Ben yammering about with this stuff about "inflation doesn't matter, it's only the inflation expectations that matter as long as they're anchored"? Facts don't count? "Anchored inflation expectations" just means that people have become used to hearing there isn't any, not whether it's actually true or not. Repeat after me: There is no inflation as long as I say so, therefore don't expect any inflation..... Too bad the fact that he's devoting a speech to the subject means that they're currently scared to death of inflation, or at least of a shift in perception about it SPX dropping in the background while this lecture goes on
