Let me answer you this way marcos. Our country is being torn asunder. When Bobby Kennedy was asked about how to appose the Vietnam war he said in effect: "you have to do what you think is right and suffer the consequences". I always thought that was a good answer. When Henry David Thoreau was put in jail for some sort of civil disobediance he was bailed out by Ralph Waldo Emerson, who asked: "what are you doing in there" whereby Thoreau responded: "what are you doing out there." Tom took a big chance spilling his guts with SI breathing down his neck. He did it because he is an honorable man and made an existential decision that he could bite his toungue no longer. When despots arise in society that threaten that society and the children, sometiems one has to do things which are not considered "appropriate" because the person feels there is an over riding matter of conscience involved in not speaking out. I doubt history has looked badly on anyone speaking out against Hitler, regardless of the forum. Cheers
