(PFE) has a full page ad in this week's NewsWeek and considering all the safety issues they point out there is no wonder they are having difficulty marketing this product: 1)Exubera may lower your lung function. 2) Must take breathing test before and from time to time. 3) Must be over 18. 4) Only for Type 2 and even then you might have to take some longer-acting insulin in addition to Exubera. 5) Common side affects are cough, dry mouth and chest discomfort. A full page ad and half of the page is safety issues! And then they make the mistake of showing the inhaler closed and opened. Bad mistake IMO!
