Misleading. The demand from those licensees is global not domestic. This article is at best about increasing CDMA market share for Chinese vendors, not Chinese consumption. Assuming the 7% bit is expired, which vendor fulfills the demand is a wash.

China accounted for 17 percent of Qualcomm's sales of $7.53 billion for the year. That's certainly not handsets sold to Chinese. This whole article is muddled.
