It's more of a despairing mixture of the two.

I'd rather not be trapped inside the human zoo, with no bars between me and the chimpoids pretending to be human. Unfortunately, that's life in the here and now.

So, I choose the lesser of various evils. Amendiejihad and Islamic Jihad is a worse evil than King George II and Pax Americana. So far anyway, though there are some megalomaniac trends alive in democracies including New Zealand's which could see me wishing for Islam. Pointing daily to Mecca might be less of a hassle than obeisance to super avaricious Helengrad and local government wannabes. Some poor guy has been fined $7000 or so for cutting down a stupid pohutukawa tree which he planted and which was wrecking his property.

Kill all native trees before the tree religionist animists notice them.

Hmm, on second thoughts, maybe I should switch allegiance to Islam. Maybe they would blow up Helengrad and get Big Government off my back.

Apparently Islam got great support with conquered local yokels centuries ago because Islam beat the rulers who treated serfs like chattel cattle, burdening them with debts, tribute, and war galore. Come to think of it, that's about the position Helen and her coven have got me in now. Islam killed off the rulers, demanded modest tribute and cancelled debt by serfs to masters. No wonder they got popular. Unlike most invasions, they didn't maltreat the locals who converted. Genghis wasn't so theological.

Do you have Osama's phone number? Maybe we could put in a word to have NZ liberated.
