I liked the Cuban section once the Gitmo section ended. I suspect that rendition was reasonably accurate. But would be interested now to read some reasonable analysis of it. Not as extensive, or as thoroughly sourced as to be ideal, but a start would be canf.org Apparently much more in depth and analytical but also not fully available to the public links.jstor.org The one page you can see for free gives some information, but it s just a taste. To get the whole thing, you need to either buy the article or be affiliated with a library or scholarly society thats a Jstor member. (I have no such affiliation) The following link deals with Cuban statistics, but its about education stats, and its also a PDF. lanic.utexas.edu Its hard to find a really good reasonable, and well sourced article on the reliability of Cuban Medical statistics, but getting back to "Sicko", its reasonably certain that Moore and the patients he brought in were given the best of the best that was available in Cuba. Cuba is a poor country with shortages, that type of gold plated medical facility isn't available to everyone all the time.
