The barrels are all 1.000Km south of me. Iranian border with Iraq. Just need embargo lifted and they will pop up.

Like in 1953, during the Anglo-Iranian crisis, there is reluctance in lifting the embargo so that the GCC countries can sell their oil at an artificially high price.

By the same token, if the contracts Iraq signed bteween Saddam Russia, France and China were not stopped by the invasion, oil will be flowing freely and, conseuqnelty, depressing prices, but the cartel doesn't want low prices...
