MCAF pre announces earnings, DSO's were supposed to be 90 days but only went up 2 days from last quarter to 65 days.. But they only beat estimates by 1 cent so who knows..
McAfee Announces Record Preliminary Results for Q3, FY97
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- McAfee Assoc. (Nasdaq:MCAF) today announced preliminary results for its fiscal third quarter, ended Sept. 30, 1997. The results indicate new records for earnings and revenues with essentially flat receivables.
Revenues for Q3 are $88.3 million, representing an 87% increase over comparable results of one year ago.
Earnings per share for Q3 are $.45/share. This result is an increase of 89% over comparable results of one year ago.
Days sales outstanding increased from 63 to 65 days.
''We are extremely pleased with these results, and believe they are a testament to our strong product strategy and management team,'' said Bill Larson, McAfee's chairman, president, and chief executive officer.
Complete results for the quarter will be reported later this month.
