Nope. There was a date when LBJ said the war was lost. I think casualties were between 20 and 30k at that time. The war went on under LBJ for a time and then under Nixon. I dont have the time to research. I think i used the 30k number once and UW said it was too high. In any case whether its 20, 25 or 30k its alot to die for a war that was viewed as lost.
